When I was a child growing up, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to study art and architecture. I have been an artist since childhood and have been teaching art for over 15 years.
I use many different media, such as flower petals, acrylics, and mixed-media. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each student is different and unique so my art classes in Burbank cater to the individual and his or her interests.
I enjoy the beauty of the world around us and many of my pieces are influenced by my background in architecture but also by things I see. I love recycling and repurposing and using things in my art that might otherwise be thrown away.
